Addicted to bass
Fieldy's bass is tuned down to A/D/G/B/E. By doing this u adopt very loose strings. When played u get a rattle noise also called a "clicking" sound. Fieldy uses this click sound in all of koRn's songs. To listen for the best click noise in their songs listen to, BBK off Follow The Leader or Good God off Life Is Peachy.
Fieldy's Dreams
On the 21st of January 2002, Fieldy released his anticipated debut solo album, entitled " Rock N Roll Gangster" by Fieldy's Dreams. His rapping is in the style of Snoop Dogg meets B-Real. He raps about cliched things E.G. smoking marijuana, saying B*tches and Hos, wich i think spoils it slightly. But Fieldy over comes this by putting them in fresh sentences with experimental beats. This album got very poor reviews but for me personally i think its one good rap album. He hooks up with Tre Hardson from the Pharcyde for the song "Sugar-Coated", Snoop's cousin RBX on the track "Do What You Feel", female rapper Helluva on "Are You Talking To Me", Angela Rascoe on "One Love", "Put A Week On It" with Sondoobie and lastly Jonathan Davis on "Just For Now". New up and coming LA producer Polar Bear produced the album and can be heard on the last track from the album called "Do What You Feel". Two of my favourite songs are "Baby Hue Hef" a song just about fronting himself and "Are You Talikng To Me" wich has the sweetest chourus ever in it. Fieldy states "... But pretty much everyone I've talked to about the album is positive. And I like it so I'm not going to be losing sleep over the haters." Mr Fieldy... I salute you.
