Beastie Boys
Started as a laugh and thinking that they would never get famous Michael Diamond,(mike d) Adam Yauch (mca), Kate Schellenbach and John Berry started out as a punk hardcore band. Then later on went to split up leaving Mike and Adam left. Adam Horovitz then joined (adrock) from The Young And The Useless and started to become more rap influenced.

In 1987 the Beastie Boys were known world wide as beer drinking hooligans but during their Check Your Head Album Years they changed their ways and started to follow the Buddhist ways of life. They work hugely with their own Free Tibet fund and do lots of charity gigs against non violence.

Weve been together for about a year and a bit and we have done quite a few gig. (check out our website on my links page) We are starting on our mini album (or EP) pretty soon so look out for it if you are in the Leamington area. The band consists of Sam Hargz on Drums, Big Hox on bass, Danny Orr on lead Guitar and Spencer Dove on Rythem Guitar. WE NEED A SINGER!! weve been thro 2 singers and now we need another!! If you know ne1 who can sing or u can sing contact us on bighox05@hotmail.com. U need to be quite local, Leamington Spa/Warwick area and commited. We are influenced by koRn and incubus mainly but we vary a lot of our stuff with reggae/jazz, a bit like Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
